Baby naming
Celebrating the Circle of Life

It takes a village to raise a child - Let me help you welcome your loved one to the world!

A naming ceremony allows you the opportunity to share one of life's most joyous moments with your family and friends. It's a non-religious ceremony which celebrates the birth your child and the transition of you becoming a parent.

You can invite people to take a special role in your child's life, either as a god parent or mentor. It also allows others in your community to pledge love and support to your baby as it grows.
Coming together on occasions like this affirms our bonds with each other and acknowledges the importance of family and friends - it really does take a village to raise a child!

I take a fun and fresh approach and have a range of rituals and activities for you to choose from so we can develop a unique ceremony for your child together.
Lets get together at my place, at yours or over Zoom, with a cuppa or glass of wine to see if we click - no strings attached! If we decide to go ahead, you will be supported, with a face to face meeting followed with email and phone consultations
There are no legal requirements for a naming ceremony.
I will provide you with formal certificate of the child's name and decorative copy the ceremony for your memories.
I will create a personalised ceremony celebrating the birth of your child with commitments from parents/guardians, readings, music, and meaningful rituals like planting a tree or lighting candles
I will arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure everything is set up so you can welcome and enjoy the arrival of your guests
I have extensive experience in public speaking at small and large events. You can be confident that my performance will be professional and in tune with the vibe that you want to create.
I will give you the use of my top quality PA if required, to play music before and during the ceremony.
Travel within 100km of Darwin is included. I love visiting new places so please get in touch if you live further away (Australia is a big place), so we can negotiate a price!
